Kristen started her career teaching middle school math, where she learned the fine art of balancing structure and chaos — a skill that turned out to be surprisingly useful in Agile transformations.
She stumbled into the Agile world while working a summer job at a digital marketing firm in the middle of their shift from traditional project management to Scrum. What started as a temporary QA role turned into a new career. Instead of heading back to the classroom, Kristen stayed to help guide the organization through their transformation — learning firsthand how messy change can be.
Since then, she’s worked as a scrum master, coach, and now as a director at a software and managed services company supporting international trade compliance. Along the way, she’s learned that while frameworks have their place, real transformation is about listening, adapting, and having the courage to ask hard questions — even when the answers are uncomfortable.
Kristen brings a practical, people-first approach to Agile and organizational change. She’s passionate about helping teams cut through process noise, focus on what actually adds value, and build ways of working that make sense for the humans doing the work.
